Family Friendly Hardwood Floors

Here are pictures of a wood floor that was recently refinished. The living room originally had wood in a width of two feet around the perimeter of the room. The remaining floor (approximately 260 sq. ft.) was carpet. The carpet and underlayment was removed and replaced with unfinished wood flooring. Hickory Hardwood in Missouri Home

Here a some pictures of wood flooring in a house in Missouri. This particular wood is 2¼” wide pre-finished Hickory in random lengths. The wood is 3/4″ thick solid and was nailed to the subfloor with over 17,000 nails! It’s not going anywhere.

Hickory is a dense wood that resists dents from spike heels, chair legs, etc. The great thing about this type of wood is that it doesn’t show (more…)

Hardwood & Tile Replaces Carpet and Vinyl in Campbell

In the pictures below you will see where we removed the carpet and vinyl from every room in the house (except the master bedroom, which will be done later) and we also replaced the subfloor. The old subfloor was particle board which had water damage and wasn’t very sturdy to begin with.

Casual Warmth with Distressed-Look Hardwood in the Livingroom

This is the living room of a local residence where I installed wood flooring in 5″ planks. The flooring has a “distressed” look with natural knots and marks (notice the black streaks) that gives the floor a rustic look.
