Commercial Tile in NE Arkansas

Below are before and after pictures of a tile installation in Northeast Arkansas. This is actually a 2000 square foot building that is used as a fellowship hall by a small church. I began this job by applying Redgard to areas of the concrete that had small cracks. Redgard is used a crack suppression membrane to keep cracks in the concrete slab from transferring through to the tile.

Porcelain Tile in Bella Vista Basement

December 1, 2008 in Ceramic Tile & Stone, Projects By: admin

The following pictures show a tile installation in the basement of a home in Bella Vista, Arkansas. After the water heater leaked, a complete tear-out of the carpet was required. Tile was the obvious choice, due to its durability. Another leaking water heater won’t affect this floor. Extending the tile up the wall was an after-thought. There are two different types of stone border installed, since we couldn’t find enough of either kind to do the entire basement. This totally changed (Read more…)

Casual Warmth with Distressed-Look Hardwood in the Livingroom

This is the living room of a local residence where I installed wood flooring in 5″ planks. Slate-Look Tile in Rogers Area Bathroom

Ceramic Tile Is A Natural For Bathrooms

This is a complete master bathroom renovation that included a large amount of tile for the floor and walls. It features a “slate-looking” ceramic tile that was installed with a listello border. The tile in the main part of the bathroom goes up the wall 7 1/2 feet, and 4 1/2 feet in the toilet room.

The shower is waterproofed with Schluter Kerdi membrane, and the walls around the tub were waterproofed with Redgard. The soap boxes are recessed into the wall cavity and are completely waterproof. This shower will dry out sooner after each use, which makes it more difficult for mold or mildew to grow. This is all due to the Schluter Kerdi membrane!

Carpet is installed in almost every home in the U.S. Carpet is an inexpensive and comfortable type of flooring. It’s a good insulator, which means it’s more comfortable to the bare feet than solid floors like tile or wood. It’s available in many colors, styles, and prices, which adds to its popularity. But for many people, carpet can be a significant hindrance to their health.

Carpet is simply a fabric that (Read more…)
